Coleman Partners Architects,
LLC has completed renovations to the historically
significant Old Livestock Judging Pavilion at LSU located at
the south end of the LSU Campus. The building serves as the
home of Louisiana's only professional theater company, Swine
Palace Productions. The Old Livestock Judging Pavilion has
been renovated into a unique theater setting which features
many of the historically significant characteristics of the
original Livestock Judging Pavilion. The design challenge
was to faithfully restore the building, maintaining the
historically significant characteristics, while making the
building a suitable home for a contemporary, professional
theater company. The renovations were financed by a
combination of public funds as well as a generous donation
made by the Reilly family of Baton Rouge and other private
donors. |
