McKinley Middle School is a $13 million, 120,000 sq. ft. arts magnet middle school for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board.  This 850-student facility will include a 1000-seat auditorium, performing arts studios (dance, drama, choir, and band), library media center with adjacent computer labs and gymnasium. Built in an inner city location, the school will try to reach out to the surrounding community by sharing its athletic, performance, and arts facilities, while maintaining security for its students.
