The Livingston Parish
Literacy and Technology Center is a joint use academic
facility used by Southeastern Louisiana University and
Livingston Parish School Board. The mission of the facility
bridges the specialized academic needs of the local school
board with the outreach programs of SLU. This 35,000 sq.
ft. facility is the first phase of the Livingston Parish
Academic Complex master plan. The project included general
academic classroom space which was set up to include the
latest the A/V systems. In addition to the classroom space,
the facility houses computer labs as well as an automotive
shop facility. The building also includes administration
spaces, common gallery space and a large lecture hall to be
shared by both entities.
