The
Louisiana Emerging Technology Center (LETC) is a 60,000
square foot facility located at
Louisiana
State University
that will enable bioscience startup companies with
technology ties to the University to accelerate early
growth. This facility is part of a statewide network of
three Wet Lab Business Incubator/Accelerators funded by the
State of Louisiana, Department of Economic Development, to
provide the core infrastructure necessary to nurture the
development of Biotechnology companies within
Louisiana.
LETC will include completely built-out and furnished lab and
office space for startup companies and shell space to
accommodate resident companies in the early growth phase of
development. LETC through the design of this facility will
provide an interdisciplinary, synergistic atmosphere that
encourages crossover thinking and interaction between
resident companies.
