Opened in March 2009, Phase 1 of Marriott Vacation Club’s Crystal Shores Resort creates a new look for the world’s largest resort ownership brand. A new, cleaner, less cluttered, contemporary concept leads Marriott Vacation Club into the new century. Phase 1 of Crystal Shores consists of two of the four remaining towers of the former Marco Island Radisson Hotel. The original towers were demolished back to the structural frame to create a completely new appearance. The unique guest suites feature a “loft” inspired living area with a large opening wall leading to extremely large balconies. With the sliding wall open, a truly unique indoor / outdoor space can be enjoyed. An elevated outdoor restaurant, “Silts” was created allowing guests to dine with a view over the dunes to the Gulf sunset.
